The Shirt

The Lvl Up+ soft package was in my mailbox today and I can honestly say that I was excited to see it. After last month’s Batman shirt I was pretty stoked to see what their second offering would be. Would I be pleasantly surprised or would I be regretting this purchase?

Opening the bubble-wrap mailer I was a little curious to find not t-shirt material but a very nice knit. The fabric wasn’t as soft as last month’s t-shirt but was instead a little coarse. I pulled out the shirt and there it was in all it’s glory.

That’s right! A Jabba the Hut polo shirt! This is a model number 45800 Gildan Performance™ Classic Fit Adult Double Piqué Sport Shirt. Weighing in at only 5.6 oz this is perfect for those hot days where you want something light. Made of 100% polyester this shirt won’t pill or wrinkle like the cotton polos.

Final Thoughts

I really like this shirt. Trying to do a little bit of quick research online we see that this shirt, if bought by itself and without a logo on it, is roughly $10 per shirt, maybe a little bit less. Slap on a Jabba logo and the price goes up a little. It should be noted that the logo isn’t embroidered on but a heat transfer of an embroidered logo stuck onto the shirt.

The shirt is not overly expensive to produce but it is pretty unique. All in all I’m pretty pleased with the quality of the shirts that come in the Lvl Up+ packages. This shirt ties in very nicely with the August “Villains 2” Loot Crates that we unboxed not too long ago.

It’s my policy to give these crates and services about 3 months to impress me and try to keep me on as a client. So far the Lvl Up+ is doing a very fine job of holding my interest.
