This is my first Tokyo Treat and I have to say that I am pretty darn impressed by it. There was so much stuff in the box! I didn’t really care that it wasn’t as carefully packed as the Skoshbox or the Japan Crate – it really felt like I got a surprise grab bag of stuff in the mail from Japan!

Keep in mind that the box reviewed here is the Premium $34.99 Box. Technically, I have two drinks in this box – The Konjac Jelly and the Mikkuchuju-chu. That’s pretty snazzy. There’s also two DIY kits.

Really, check out their “About Us” page at https://tokyotreat.com/subscribe/ as well as the list of the types of treats that they have. It gives you a pretty good understanding of what you’ll be getting.

Final Thoughts

I really didn’t know what to expect with this subscription box but I have to admit that I was really pleased with everything that I got. The only drawback to getting so much stuff is that, well, there is so much stuff. The amount and variety of treats and snacks in this box that comes directly from Japan makes taste testing everything immediately pretty daunting.

I’m going to have to solicit volunteers to help me with this one!

All in all I’m pretty excited to get my next box from Tokyo Treat. I’m pretty happy with the ‘Wow!’ factor that this initial subscription box got out of me and I’m hoping that it can be sustained with future boxes.
